Shefalee Vasudev is a journalist, cultural commentator and narrative psychotherapist. Co-founder of The Voice of Fashion and the first editor of Marie Claire India, she has worked for three decades across news and lifestyle media. She is the author of Stories We Wear: Status, Spectacle and the Politics of Appearance (Westland, 2025) and Powder Room: The Untold Story of Indian Fashion (Random House, 2012). A frequent moderator and speaker at fashion and culture forums, her current work joins narrative therapy, craft and cultural research, listening closely to makers and the knowledge they carry.
